Service Representative.
Jefferson State Community College's Workforce Development Center, in
partnership with local businesses, is now offering customer service
training programs that can jumpstart your future. Sponsoring companies
offer entry-level positions with beginning salaries ranging from $9.50 -
$ 12.00 per hour and increasing to $19.00 per hour. That's $23,000 -
$35,000 per year!
The Call Center/Customer Service program schedules 8-week day or 16-week
evening/weekend classes. Students will receive 12 semester credit hours
that can be applied toward an Associate Degree, or simply receive
Continuing Education Units (CEU's). The program focuses on coursework
that builds skills necessary for immediate employment in customer
service type jobs. Students are trained in a simulated call center
environment with hands-on experience utilizing state-of-the-art
equipment and software.
