Partnerships With Other Institutions

In the spirit of Jefferson State's mission, we continue to put the needs of our students first by forming educational partnerships to meet their lifelong goals.

Listed are some of our partners in education:

• Huntingdon College
  • Huntingdon College Offers bachelor's degree completion program at Jefferson State. The program provides seamless admission for students who may not otherwise have an opportunity to complete their bachelor's degree.
• Jacksonville State University
  • Jefferson State Community College, in partnership with Jacksonville State University's College of Commerce and Business Administration, utilizes videoconference technology to teach undergraduate classes to students at our Pell City Site in to St. Clair County, Alabama.
• St. Vincent's Hospital Nursing
  • Jefferson State and St. Vincent's Hospital have teamed up to provide a night and weekend nurse education program. Nursing courses include a mix of online and traditional in-class instruction. Upon graduation, all students will receive the Associate Degree in Nursing from Jefferson State.
• UAB Connections
  • The Connections Partnership with UAB is a great way for Jefferson State students to stay "connected" with UAB as they anticipate transferring there!
