Our Mission - to improve the safety and health of workers and communities.

The Workplace Safety Training Program is committed to advancing the health and safety of workers through training, teaching, and cooperation with other organizations with similar goals.

We believe the following to be true:

• Every worker deserves a safe and healthful workplace.
• Safety and health are not inconsistent with productivity.
• Each worker must be provided the skills and understanding to make informed choices about his or her safety and health.
• Training should be provided by people who know the job, understand the hazards and means of protection from these hazards, and are able to facilitate workers acquisition of knowledge and understanding.
• Effective trainers have respect for workers and value their work and life experiences.
• Training does not have to be boring.
