Nov. 20, 2007
BIRMINGHAM, AL---
Three Jefferson State sophomores have signed during the NCAA early
signing period to continue their playing careers at four year
schools. Justin Aaron and Chris Sosebee will be staying in the
State of Alabama, both having signed with The University of
Montevallo, one of the top NCAA Division II schools in the country.
Chris Franklin has agreed to continue his playing career for the
Southeastern Louisiana Lions, a member of the Southland Conference
which competes at the NCAA Division I level.
“We are extremely proud that
Justin, Chris, and Chris have found such quality programs in which
to continue their careers on the baseball field. Their hard work,
both on the field and in the classroom, have enabled them to attain
their goals of playing baseball at four year schools. Montevallo
and Southeastern Louisiana are getting quality baseball players, but
more importantly quality young men”, said Jefferson State Assistant
Baseball Coach, David Hogue.
Jefferson State opens their
spring schedule on the road February 1st at Enterprise State.
