How do I apply for a loan at Jefferson State?

To apply for a loan at Jefferson State the student must check yes on the Resources/Additional Information tab under the Financial Aid tab on My JSCC Pipeline.

The loan will then be placed on the student account if they qualify for aid. Once the student receives their award information (e-mail) they must sign their promissory note and take the loan entrance counseling test. Both of these are located on the Federal student loan web page at www.studentloans.gov .The student cannot sign a promissory note until the loan has been originated by Jefferson State.

Jefferson State does not participate in private student loans.
