Tim Frazier, vice president for safety and compliance at the Alabama Trucking Association, noted that the graduates now have a “great opportunity for a great career.”

Training Coordinator Alex Blevins said the first class to complete the CDL Training Program set the bar high for future classes.

Byron Mulder, who Blevins said took on a leadership role in the class, spoke about the family attitude the class adopted.

Following the presentation of certificates, representatives of businesses including Piggly Wiggly and the Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority spoke with the graduates about opportunities with their organizations.
