Culinary Explorers

We at Jefferson State Community College, along with the Boy Scouts of America, are excited to offer an informative and fun learning experience for high school students like you interested in the field of hospitality and culinary arts.

Exploring is a part of the Learning for Life career education program for young men and women in high school. The Boy Scouts of America began this program to not only educate young people about career opportunities, but also to teach them about making ethical choices in order to achieve their full potential as individuals. Therefore, we will not only be chopping, cooking and baking; we will also be dining with proper etiquette, setting goals, and delving into conflict resolution.

We hope you are as excited about this opportunity as we are and we invite you to always feel free to call or email us outside of class sessions with questions or concerns. We look forward to getting to know you and teaching you about the exciting field of Culinary Arts.
